<p class="MsoNormal">The deal for constructing this office space has recently been signed by the Greater Manchester Police Academy and the official time for actual shifting was announced as autumn of 2011. Ask developments have been responsible for finalising this deal between the GMPA and Goodman. According to David Burkinshaw, Director at Ask developments, this deal with the GMPA is a definite milestone in the dealings of the Park.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">James Raven, Director, Goodman&#8217;s UK Parks, has stated that this deal has definitely put the Manchester Central Park on the <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">UK</st1:place></st1:country-region> map and has paved the way for future dealings with similar public sector offices. Currently the deal will look into housing the divisional headquarters as well as the force headquarters of the Greater Manchester Police Academy but the company is sure that this move will attract other offices to move into similar <a href="http://www.deskspacegenie.co.uk/">shared office</a> spaces, which are well equipped.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">It is pertinent to note that this office space is being designed by Aedas and involves contemporary designs, which are guaranteed to create more open office spaces that are both attractive as well as formal enough for being used as police headquarters.</p>

The project called the Atlantic Square will come up on the banks of the Clyde in the International Financial Services District, where significant <a href="http://www.glasgowforbusiness.com/">business development</a> has already been taking place recently. </p>
<p>The project is expected to cost about &#163;100m and will involve the construction of a 3 building complex between Broomielaw and city centre buildings. A six storey hotel with 150 bedrooms will be part of the complex. The other two buildings will provide Grade A <a href="http://www.deskspacegenie.co.uk/">shared offices</a> to the tune of 161,000 sq ft and 66,000 sq ft. Covered passages will connect all three structures. In addition to the above mentioned, there will also be space for entertainment and leisure, health park, and conference rooms. </p>
<p>The work site is located between James Watt Street and York Street in the IFSD area which is the focus of Glasgow council&#8217;s enhancement initiatives now. The area is being spruced up to bring in added business attention to the district in a bid to increases commerce here. Pedestrian traffic is also being targeted for improvement. The city council aims for a 20,000 job creation here by 2011 with an additional goal to opening up 2 million square feet more of office space. An earlier scheme, the <a href="http://www.wbdatlanticquay.co.uk/">Atlantic Quay</a> which was constructed nearby, raised the social visibility of the Glasgow IFSD area effectively. </p>
