Extraordinary power can be tapped in women’s networking.
One of the main points of focus of the Heart Link Network is to work through the unnecessary competion between women who network and show and guide them and foster the potential to make all stronger, better and smarter. Women’s networking events have been taken to a new level of effectiveness and fun.
The Dallas Chiropractors at Premier Health Clinic are committed to alleviating dysfunction and pain for their North Dallas chiropractic patients – defining the fundamental cause of their health troubles and issues, taking care of it at the source and facilitating that patients to take a hands on posture and learn how to increase quality of life and longevity. This is done through North Dallas chiropractic care, Plano Rehabilitation and therapy, Frisco Decompression therapy,, as well as nutritional suppliments and support.
Maryland home inspections have been around most likely as long as houses have been. The buyer would often ask someone they knew, suck as a parent, friend, or sometimes even a builder, to determine the condition of the property they were selling or planning to buy.

Most of the times, that judgement was based on a quick run through, with little or no understanding of what was important, and quite often someone who was not at all educated in the nuances of buildings. These times were a long time ago, when buildings were simpler, and the techniques used to construct them were much simpler, and evaluations rendered were predictably simple.
That was then and this is now. Times have changed as well as have home inspections. FUndamentally, the main purpose of a property inspection is to bring to light issues of any major deficiencies in the condition of the home, integral or influencing peripheral parts or systems of the property. We also hold it to be true to include in our reports the good points of a home. We know that an educated customer is more likely to make a wise decision. The buyer would be misguided if we only focused on the problems and concerns with a home. Reporting both the good and bad things of home is paramount in the decision making process.

The internet can either help or hurt your job hunt - it's up to you.

A modern job hunting campaign is by nature fairly complex. While the web has offered a variety of new channels, it also creates increased competition for choice jobs and possible challenges for job hunters.

Job search needs to be thought of as a highly personal, highly directed marketing process where you are the product. Your resume is an advertisement. Your extended network of associates is your lead generating machine.

So where does the internet fit in? At AA-Careers, we recently posted a job on a popular job site and got over 650 responses in a calendar week. For one opening. That’s increased competition.

Had a strong person called us before we ran the posting, they could have secured the job before getting all that competition. How? By finding an employee at our office who became aware of the job prior to posting. Everyone knew about of the job for at least 10 days before it was posted. Who in your network might know of a job that’s coming available soon?

Be careful to check your application materials thoroughly before submitting them. When we did an analysis of the 650 resumes, we found a large number of errors. 63% of the applicants were easily taken out with a quick triage process. How? The same way any employer would. By rejecting resumes where the objective didn’t match our job posting. By eliminating candidates whose cover letters gave us causes not to employ them, like "I know I’m overqualified but I really need a job". By eliminating job hunters whose documents that didn’t open properly. And by rejecting candidates who didn’t trouble to spell check their cover letter and/or resume.

So the good news is that job sites give you a sense of who is hiring, and for what kinds of positions. But once those jobs are posted, the competition is intense. You can still compete, if you have a well honed resume, designed to appeal directly and clearly to the recruiter. And if you have practiced interviewing – so you don’t stumble at a critical point.

Another issue to be aware of is how quickly you can be checked on on the internet. As we Googled several candidates, we ran into some Facebook comments that were in questionable taste. Nothing larcenous, but enough to tilt our thoughts about who to choose.

AA-Careers provides a comprehensive set of services for Bay Area job seekers, providing our clients a personal career consultant, a managed job hunting campaign, modern tools like a personal website, video, highly targeted resume, and much more. Let us know if we can help you.

Be careful out there, and good hunting!

If you’re reading this article, you are probably interested in looking for ways to moderate your finances. Developing and sticking to a monthly budget has always been one of the ideal methods to do this. Having a solid budget is fundamental for managing money, one that has allowed me to survive even on limited funds. Organising my monthly budget is one of the most crucial things I do every month, this has allowed me to systematically meet all expenditures, grow my savings, and control debt.

I normally organise my budget for the upcoming month on about the 20th of the current month. This will prepare me of what’s down the road. It’s not a good idea to prepare a budget after getting paid because, too often, that flush feeling of getting a paycheck results to uneccessary and spontaneous spending before the paycheck ever reaches the bank.

Managing my personal budget includes outlining all the things that must be paid that month like mortgage/rent, utilities, and other essentials like insurance, car loan repayment, transportation costs, and phone. These are the things I have pay to keep a adequate roof over my head and carry on earning money. I like to pad these necessities to produce “money back” after paying the bills and, if costs increase circumstantially, I’m always covered.

Next, my budget is subjected to a list of discretionary things I need to cover but could live without if absolutely needed. For example, donations, credit card repayments and monthly sving deposits. These things are also important, but in case of emergency I could put them off for a short time. By giving credit card companies the maximum instead of the minimum, I keep my credit score high and my debt low.

My budget will not include the cost of living such as food and entertainment. Ultimately, these items get covered by what’s left in the budget. Some months involve lots of beans and rice, slow-cooker meals, free or cheap entertainment, and only one inexpensive piece of clothing . This strategy of overseeing my monthly budget has worked out very well over the long term as long as I observe it conscientiously.

It can often be difficult to handle a family budget and ensuring that the expenses is in line with the overall household income. Not managing your finances can often lead to things getting out of hand. It is particularly true when you are balancing a full time job and also trying to care for a family in these tough economic times. But it’s not alright to let the family’s resources go to waste, which is why you need to get some budget help. How do I get my budget back in control? It’s all about putting constraints on your spending.

The importance of managing my budget

Most people do not understand the importance until it is too late, but having a budget and following the plan is the most important thing you can do. Many folks find themselves questioning why their budget do not work over the long haul. In short, if you do not plan your expenditure and know where your money is going, then you will start to stress at the end of the month. What each family need to do is to pay a visit to mybudget to get an expert opinion on their financial position. When I plan for my budget, I try to be as coordinated as possible. As the head of the family, you owe it to yourself and to your family to be a dependable steward.

The challenges affiliated with planning my budget

As you have learned, creating a budget is not easy. How much should we allot for food? What about funds for emergency situations? These are questions that you need to ask yourself to to factor in all the monthly costs. This is where establishing my budget can get so tricky, and I’m sure it’s the same with you. With all of the strain associated with working a job, it can often be easy to let these things slip by the wayside. After all, how important is just one bill? It is obviously very important, and if you want your family’s finances to be in order, then you should most definitely use a dependable programme like the one found at mybudget.

In conclusion, budgeting is a serious challenge and it can sometimes cause uneccessary tension. With the resources at your disposal today, you can put your household’s finances into an coordinated plan and you can follow through with that plan wholly. It’s helped with my budget, and it should do the same for yours.

If you punch in the word, depression, on the Internet, you will come up with an assortment of drugs and programs, which offer to stop anxiety attacks. No doubt we clearly live in a world which focuses on the negative rather than the positive, it's a good thing we have assistance for panic attacks and depression. If these have impaired you in any way, you can usually find an answer quite easily by using the Internet.

Our world is stuffed with demands. It seems that the more we develop technology and means to evolve things more speedily, the more panic attacks (anxiety–treatment.info) increase. We should probe this further. One might take for granted that progress in technology would contribute to relieving stress. However, anxiety and depressive disorder appear more commonplace now than when compared to the past. Chances are that in past times, it was not mannerly to discuss these topics. These days are different, we nowadays talk about it openly. In fact, if you engage in any TV watching, chances are that you have encountered an ad for a medicine, which provides panic attacks treatment.

You are not alone when dealing with these issues. Whether it be sleep related or fright of public spaces, researchers continue to make progress with new solutions. Anxiety and natural depression are for certain at the top of this long list. When I consider depression, I think of a person who has of late lost a loved one or a person who is impaired in such a way that keeps them from living a normal life. Well this is a common misconception. We are surrounded by people that are pummeled by the burden of anxiety and depressive disorder for other reasons. Some of which are not even known. The food we consume could easily be a reason. Oddly, contentment with life is elusive to most individuals.

A subject that worries me, is teens. Anxiety and depressive disorder appears to be hitting them more than others these days. Granted, being a teen is rough in some areas, and unbelievably simple in others. While some teenagers may argue that it’s dreadful. Even I was a teenager in the past. We certainly know much of what they are going through. Nevertheless, panic attacks were not part of my teen experience. It is difficult to understand the changes of the last ten years. Depressive Disorder should not be a childhood experience. In point of fact, anxiety and depressive disorder should be much less prevalent than it is altogether.

Welcome to the procrastinator’s anonymous club! This club will accept anyone who is willing to make an excuse. It only takes one – that will do.

Quitting even before you get started will put you in the leadership positions of the procrastinators anonymous club – guaranteed a promotion! Now, before you think I’m just being sarcastic (maybe a little), it’s time to do a little reality check – before we go any further. These three questions need to be asked to get you thinking…

Is anything worthwhile ever accomplished without real effort?

What are you teaching to those around you (i.e. – children, teens, friends, etc.), by your lack of action?

What do you want to be proud of, as to accomplishments, at the end of your life?

Knowing how to get motivated can be a little difficult, at times, for all of us. And, yes, all of us face joining that same club, procrastinators anonymous, when it comes to some things in our lives, too. In order to cancel our enrollment, it will take some real action, though (sorry, the mere thought does not count).

Here are some steps that should enable each of us to stay out (they only accept inactive members).

1. Bite the bullet and stop making excuses.

Where did that attitude ever get you anyway? Someone once said something to the effect that if we continue to do the things that we do the same way that we’ve always done them, then we will always end up with the same results. Are those the results you want? Are you trying to be the president of the procrastinators anonymous club?

2. Get some direction for your life.

It is not something that you can be proud of, or want to tell your kids about, that you belonged to the procrastinators anonymous club. Do something that you can be proud of.

3. Set some daily goals and begin to build some self-discipline.

As you make your list of goals, make them small – small enough that it won’t take much to accomplish in the first day, or week. By making them small, and accomplishing them, you will begin to build a greater self-confidence. This will allow you, later, to
set larger goals – and to them accomplished, too; but start out small.

4. Get someone to help you.

Perhaps you know a friend who has similar problems. Make an agreement with them that you each will be accountable to the other. Make them ask you, often, about what your little goals are for the day, and about how you are doing in reaching them, so far. Then, it is your turn to do the same for them. Keep it positive, and encouraging.

5. Reward yourself occasionally.

As you progress, give yourself a little pat on the back, by doing something a little special that you like to do. Goals are not at all about having no fun – just about staying away from the procrastinators anonymous club.

Peter Murphy is a peak performance expert. He recently produced a very popular free report that reveals how to crush procrastination and sustain lasting motivation. Apply now because it is available for a limited time only at: stop procrastinating!

Many of you know that I ran the Philadelphia Broad Street 10-mile Run this weekend. I have never been a runner before…and still don’t think other runners would consider me one now…but it was an accomplishment that I am proud of and it taught me a lesson in staying motivated in reaching a goal.

Regardless of whether you are self-employed or you work for someone else, staying motivated can be a challenge. When we start something new, it is always exciting and when we think about how things will be down the road, we tend to dream toward the positive. Think about it…you start a new job and you fantasize about the huge bonus or taking over the department or making it onto Oprah’s couch if you’re an entrepreneur like me. (In the 10-mile run scenario above, I thought I would look like Elle McPherson by the time the run came around) The world is your oyster.

Then, reality sets in. Prospects don’t call back. The person who reports to you is insubordinate. Your boss is difficult. Your body doesn’t look like Elle McPherson’s. You know the deal. Suddenly frustration starts to creep in and you start to doubt yourself, your abilities and your dreams.

Without sounding like too much of a Pollyanna, I have truly found that the biggest breakthroughs happen in our darkest times. We learn our toughest lessons after being fired, or in a business that’s failing. Is it fun? Well, not really. But if you pay attention, you learn and you grow. Our object in life shouldn’t be to avoid failure because if we do, it means we’re not trying hard enough. Failure is not the end; it’s just a part of the trip. You pick up, make adjustments and you move on.

So how do you stay motivated during trying times? How do you move forward when you want to quit or just curl up in a ball and sleep? I advise my clients to use these tactics:

1.Just keep putting one foot in front of the other and showing up. Continue to do one thing each day that moves you forward. If you can’t get on the treadmill for 45-minutes, get on for 10. If you can’t make 5 sales calls, make 1.

2.Take real time away, whether you have an hour, a week or a month. Get away from the source of your frustration and focus on something else. You will truly come back to things refreshed.

3.If there’s something you’ve been dreading or avoiding, get out there and do it or at least part of it. You know you’re living it in your head and beating yourself up over it anyway. That is worse and more painful than actually doing what you’ve been avoiding. Take one step forward and you may be surprised that you get re-energized.

I believe that as solo-entrepreneurs, business owners, and executives we all need a pat on the back. Give yourself commendation. Why? Because we have the courage to step outside of the corporate box and start our own businesses, be our own boss and take on the challenge and responsibilities required for this adventure. In order to even contemplate that step we must have had a vision, a dream and a passion to bring it to fruition. So commend yourself.

Now, we’re in business. We’ve been working our little brains out. We are dedicated to making our dream come true. But some time has passed and we may have exhausted ourselves of ideas, that passion that once used to drive us is fading and our never ending “to do list” is overshadowing our dreams.

Do not be discouraged, we only need to refuel. Picture the never ending stair master at the gym. I know we all dread that machine, because it seems like you just keep climbing and there is no landing. But each step is a further progression. Each step brings us to a higher level. Perhaps by reading these strategies we can replenish our passion and reinvigorate our inner drive. So let’s focus on a few ideas that I have found to be helpful.

1) Narrow Your Niche I know that as a woman, mother, wife, housekeeper, and a chef, solo-entrepreneur and so on, I tend to think that I can handle it all. Maybe not with grace, but I can accomplish a lot. I am a multi-tasker. We assume that if we can do so in our personal lives, the same should be true in our professional lives. No doubt, we can manage a lot. And as solo-entrepreneurs there are a lot of hats to wear. Business owners are in advertising, marketing, accounting, and so on. But when it comes to the services we offer we should consider “narrowing our niche”.

We may be more proficient in a particular area of our practice. By honing in on our skills in that area, we are creating a competitive edge, an area of expertise. You can position yourself as a leader in your own industry. Opposed to fitting in with a thousand of professionals offering the same service, we are now exposed to clientele as specializing in a certain skill. We can also appeal more specifically to a “target market”.

2) Partnerships and Alliances Wouldn’t you agree that we all need support? We need confirmation that we are heading in the right direction, a resource for assistance, or an honest opinion when we need advice. That’s why it is essential to group ourselves together with a variety of individuals who are enlisted within a similar profession. It also increases our professional appearance to clients when we can refer them to an associate of ours who specializes in a particular area of expertise. (Hence the importance of “narrowing your niche”). There are many associations and links available to aid us in our endeavors. So make the connections needed and integrate yourself with a partner or an alliance and unite together with a support system. (E.g. become more involved with the community at www.solo-e.com/community/ where you will connect with individuals who are coming together to help you present yourself with the resources you need).

3) Maintaining Passion The word passion is described as: “enthusiasm, excitement, desire for a particular activity, or devotion to a cause”. How do we maintain that enthusiastic approach? Focus on your core message. This is the innermost substance of your business. Maybe our business is a consulting firm. Why not focus on and think about how you are empowering other others to accomplish all that is needed of them by assisting them with your services and/or your products.

Try focusing on the message that you are communicating to others and try to incorporate that in your everyday duties. For instance, the core message of my company is growth. Not only personal growth, but business growth and helping other businesses grow, expand, and develop. I try to allow clients to see the quality of my concern and I enjoy the opportunity I have to help them. When they become more productive and increase profits, I benefit too! My motto is “If you grow – I grow!”

Another way to maintain your passion is to find similarities in your personal values and your business. All of us have a certain moral code. We all have things that are of particular importance to us and if we harmonize that connection between our work ethic and our personal ethics we will be passionate about what we do. Most of us appreciate sincerity from our family, friends and associates; by reflecting the same sincerity to others we are highlighting its importance to us. Having synchronization with our personal and business values will bring about passion, thus helping us to enjoy the entrepreneurial experience.

From my business to yours, I wish you much success and delight in your journey.
